Sweet Flag grass - Acorus gramineus variegatus
Lovely grass with green and yellow variegated leaves, this has the added bonus of being very tactile. Slide your hand along the blades and it has the feel of a beautiful healthy head of hair in a pony-tail!
Easy to grow in any soil as long as it doesn't dry out. Tolerate of wet soils - fantastic for bog gardens, stream & poolside plantings.
If hot summers it appreciates after shade or filtered sunlight.
Fabulous as en masse plantings as a groundcover and wonderful accent plant for landscaping
