This species of the Marlborough Daisy is now rare in the wild and differs from P insignis with having rusty reddish underside to the dark green thick leaves.
Like its more common species it has white daisy flowers with golden eyes.
It’s a superb plant for the drier, sunny parts of the garden with excellent drainage.
Grows to about 50cm and the clumps gradually extend to cover and protect the soil.
