Aristotelia x fruserrata
This hybrid between the forest wineberry (serrata) and the mountain wineberry (fruticosa) while similar to serrata has smaller leaves and is a tough small tree, large shrub and can cope with more open sites. Flowers range from cream to red with berries in shades of red to purple-black, loved by birds. Makes an excellent hedge. Grows to around 3 metres Evergreen
