Enkianthus campanulatus
Redvein Enkianthus Native to Japan, this upright, narrow shrub has small, pendulous, bell-shaped creamy-yellow flowers with pronounced red veining in late spring/early summer. Flowers on previous year’s growth so any pruning should be done straight after flowering. Rich autumn colours of orange and red. Grows in full sun to part shade in well-drained, acidic soil. Grows to around 2-3m Award of Garden Merit
