Eucryphia lucida
Leatherwood Native to Tasmania, this attractive, glossy leaved, evergreen tree or tall shrub growing to around 10 x 4m. Creamy-white flowers, shaped like a single rose, are massed in late spring to summer. They have a sweet, strong fragrance and are very attractive to bees and other beneficial insects. Easy to grow in a moist, well drained position in sub to part shade.
