Arbutus unedo
Irish Strawberry Tree Large evergreen shrub or small tree with bell-shaped flowers, not unlike lily of the valley flowers, in summer and autumn with trusses of strawberry like fruit often on the shrub along with the flowers. Grows to about 5-8 metres tall. Hardy and tolerant of coastal conditions in moist, well drained soil in sun or part shade.
