Hydrangea quercifolia Snowflake
Outstanding oak-leafed hydrangea with large, bold and attractive leaves which colour red in the autumn. Double white flowers in summer aging to rosy pink. Grows to about 1-1.5m. Happiest in shade but avoid very wet soil. Not one for the humid part of the country . If pruning is needed, do it straight after flowering as this type of hydrangea flowers on old wood.
