Lonicera periclymenus Graham Thomas
Deciduous honeysuckle with woody stems and dark green leaves. Very fragrant creamy-white late spring/early summer flowers which age to yellow. Can develop red berries in late summer/early autumn. Can grow to 7-8 metres but happy to be kept shorter. Spread of about 1.5m if left to its own devices. Beautiful scrambling through and up sturdy trees.
