Spicy fragrant beauty, dianthus are commonly called 'pinks', and are easy and rewarding to grow. One of the loveliest perfumes in flowers (to my nose anyway!!) Flowers about 30-40cm Great cut flowers Loves full sun with well drained soil Prefers neutral to alkaline soil Deadhead as necessary and dianthus will reward you with lots of blooms over a long period from late spring through summer and into autumn. Divide plant every 3 - 4 years as new growth begins in spring and share these beauties with friends and family.
