The leaves emerge green in spring then blush red from the leaf tips spreading towards the base with a thin red margin around the leaves. Quite lovely. Grows to around 30-40cm. Lavenders flowers late spring to summer
Grow hostas in shade to semi-shade in moist, humus rich soil. Dappled sunlight is perfect for most types. Protect from slugs and snails. Hostas are winter dormant
