This perennial viola is a real delight for any gardener whether or not you’re rugby mad. Velvet black with gold eye
Flowers about 20-30cm high with flowers held proud of the foliage.
Easy to grow in sun with adequate moisture or part shade. Trim back by about half after flowering and away they’ll go again. Cut back closer to main stem autumn/late winter and they delight again in spring and on.
